About the Author: Like many authors, Megan Crewe finds writing about herself much more difficult than making things up. Hail pelted us, and the wind lashed at us from all sides. I could hardly breathe. The only solid thing was Finn. I curled my fingers into the damp fabric of his shirt and sang into the stiller space between us. “Como veían que resistía.”

She holds a BA in history and an MFA from Simmons College in writing for children and young adults. Her YA historical fantasy novel, THIS MONSTROUS THING, which won the PEN-New England Susan P. Bloom Children’s Book Discovery Award, as well as an Emerging Artist Grant from the St. Botolph Club Foundation, is out now from Katherine Tegen Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. Her second book, THE GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO VICE & VIRTUE, will be released in 2017, followed by SEMPER AUGUSTUS in 2018. She loves Diet Coke, sweater weather, and Star Wars.
